What are Advanced Driver Assistance Systems?

Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) are designed to assist you as the driver in a variety of ways, such as providing warnings and alerts, enhancing visibility, and even automating certain driving tasks – especially emergency responses.

Examples of ADAS features include lane departure warning, automatic steering, forward, automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control.

These systems use a combination of sensors, cameras, and other technologies to monitor the vehicle’s surroundings, alert the driver to potential hazards, and sometimes even take corrective action faster than the driver could.

The goal of ADAS is to improve safety for all drivers, passengers, and others sharing the road.

Does my car need to sit for a while after the windshield has been replaced?
